Aunt Florence Skarpness Spaanem's Dolies

This is a photo album of some of the doilies I have that were made by my very talented aunt, Florence Skarpness Spaanem who is a sister to my mother.  Florence made thousands of doilies over the years and she has made many afghans.  It is an honor to have them.  Florence was born in  March 1915 and passed away in August 2013. She was the matriarch of our family.  She had 100 percent Norwegian ancestry and was very proud of her Norwegian heritage.  The above picture is of the farm of Florence's grandparents, Ole and Oline Skarpness and I have it posed with one of Florence's doilies.
