Album of  Terrace, Minnesota and Chippewa Falls Lutheran Church in Terrace, Minnesota

When I was growing up my family lived on a farm two miles west of Terrace, Pope County, Minnesota.  We would go to the little store in Terrace for a lot of our groceries and we were members of the Chippewa Falls Lutheran Church in Terrace.

This is a photo album of pictures of Terrace, the Terrace Mill, the Millpond and of Chippewa Falls Lutheran Church.  I have taken pictures of the Terrace Mill whenever I have driven through Terrace to go to visit my mother over the years.  She has now passed away but I still love driving to the Terrace area to see it's beauty.

The Chippewa River runs through Terrace and it is dammed so that is what has created the Terrace Millpond.  It is a very scenic area.

One of the things I have done in my genealogy research has been to research the ancestry into Norway of many of the early members of Chippewa Falls Lutheran Church.  It has been fun to see what areas of Norway they came from.
