Getting started with my Norway Genealogy webpage

This is something that I have thought about doing but it took my dear friend, Vivian Gullickson White's posting about setting up a weebly.com web page on Facebook that made me decide to try it. This is still a work in progress and I have a lot of things to set up on the website but it will be fun to try it and to see what all happens with it. There are a lot of things about setting up the pages that I still need to learn but it will be a fun learning process.

And Ms. Vivian, thank you for this wonderful compliment, I am not a computer wiz like you are and I have a lot to learn from you as time goes on but you will be the best teacher I could have for learning how this all works.

If anyone were to tag me as a 'procrastinator', it would be in setting up my family website for genealogy.
Your site looks great, Jean!!! And to think you are just getting started!

Thanks Clark, don't blush too much, you should try using Weebly to set up a family site for genealogy. You are so talented and I know you could do it! It is quite fun and I do enjoy playing with it. We will talk soon.

They say there is no queen in America, like we have in Norway and a few other European countries. But I know one queen in St. Joseph, Minnesota. They call her Jean Marthaler. I am nobody without you, Jean. Thank you for leading me on through my missions and to my targets.

Interesting, I took a quick look at it and when I have time I will have to check it out some more. I am really enjoying this Weebly site and like how it operates etc.

No, but my dad did. He lived there in the 1920's and 30's with his parents. His father was Emilie Retzlaff's younger brother.

I don't know if you are still active online, but I have a monthly blog that you might find interesting. Do you do lookups? I have several bygdeboks as well and do free lookups.In Hordaland, I have Bomlo I and II and Kvinnherad 5. I have the Leikanger in Sogne Fjord. and Lyngdal II and Austad in Vest Agder.
